Improve new key competences (in general) and digital competences (in particular) among educators

DigiGap consortium gathered in Timișoara, Romania on 1–2 July 2025 for its 2nd Transnational Meeting, hosted by ALL Association.

Partners from Spain, Greece, Poland, and Romania met for two intensive days of collaboration, discussion, and planning. The meeting provided an important opportunity to review progress, strengthen partnerships, and advance the project’s core objective: empowering students aged 11–15 to become digital educators in their families and communities.

Highlights of the Meeting:

  • Presentation of national research reports and focus group findings from all partner countries
  • Review and discussion of the Common Report on digital education needs
  • Presentation of beta versions of the Digicompbook, the educational resource being co-created to address identified gaps
  • Workshops on the “Digital Change Agents” concept to equip students with training skills
  • Planning for dissemination strategies, quality management, and risk assessment
  • Agreement on next steps, deadlines, and dates for future meetings

The meeting opened with a LEGO-based group dynamics exercise, encouraging partners to share their visions and challenges creatively.

Throughout both days, sessions were structured to ensure collaboration across work packages, from research and educational design to project management and dissemination planning.

ALL Association provided warm hospitality creating a productive environment for meaningful discussion and teamwork.

By working together, the consortium is ensuring that the Digicompbook will be a practical, student-friendly, and culturally adaptable resource, ready to strengthen digital literacy, critical thinking, online safety, and intergenerational learning across Europe.

Stay tuned for further updates on the development of the Digicompbook and the next stages of the DigiGap project!
