Improve new key competences (in general) and digital competences (in particular) among educators

Over the course of eight weeks, 5th and 6th grade primary students participated in the “READY, SET, GO!” DigiGap workshops. Through interactive and engaging sessions, students learned how to guide their families in the safe and responsible use of technology.

Throughout the programme, pupils strengthened their digital competences, communication skills, empathy, and patience. They designed digital activities tailored for their parents and practiced using tools such as Google Earth, Canva, and applications focused on time management and digital wellbeing. In addition, students explored key topics including online safety, responsible social media use, and strategies for family-based digital learning.

The workshops fostered intergenerational collaboration, creativity, and motivation, turning digital education into a hands-on, enjoyable learning experience. By positioning students as Digital Change Agents within their families, DigiGap continues to promote digital inclusion and strengthen digital confidence across generations.
